Introducing The New & Innovative ‘Revolution’ Blade…

Hydrasports are excited to launch one of 2017’s most innovative and revolutionary products by GPower into the UK slalom market. Introducing the ‘REVOLUTION’ Blade. With a unique design and function, this blade will take the C1 market by storm. The paddle was designed in collaboration with Alexander Slafkovský who has competed since the late 1990s, winning eight medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with seven gold’s in C1 teams and one silver in individual C1 in 2013. At the European Championships he has won a total of 18 medals (10 gold’s, 5 silvers and 3 bronzes). Slafkovský has also won the overall World Cup title in 2012 and 2016 in the C1 category making him one of the leading C1 paddlers in the world.

As you can see from the images of the innovative C1 ‘Revolution’ Blade, the inside face has 6 ridges differing in length, this is the new DRC System (Drain, Ridge, Cavity system). The layout of these ridges stiffens the blade, which then allows for faster topamax water drainage, an increased surface area, and therefore increasing the power available to the paddler. After all, the more control you have with your paddle, the faster you will be able to negotiate the gates …

A non-slalom paddler? Don’t worry, this incredible new blade is inspired by the ‘EVOLUTION’ blade which is also exceptionally stable in rowing and sprint, allowing you as a paddler to focus all your power into a single stroke, making sure you’re ahead of the game.

As ever the blade is available in sizes; Medium, Large, and XLarge meaning whatever your build, you can take full advantage of this new design.

A choice of shafts in different stiffness configurations are available allowing you to further tailor the ‘Revolution’ blade to your needs, whether it be a narrower shaft or larger grip. Carbon handles are now also available in 30, 35 and 40mm diameters for this blade, making sure you maximise your paddling potential.
